About Us
Aubrey and Brian have always shared a love for tiki, Art Deco, all things vintage, great food, cocktails, and traveling to places that feel like an experience all their own.
After moving back to Indiana and purchasing a 1935 Firestone Tire building in Downtown Hammond, they saw both the potential in the old building and something they felt Northwest Indiana was missing — a place that was more than somewhere to eat or grab a drink. They wanted to create an experience and a little escape close to home.
As fabricators, welders, and lifelong makers, Aubrey and Brian have spent years building things together, and Paradise MotoTiki became their biggest project yet. Much of what you see throughout the space has been dreamed up, designed, fabricated, restored, or built by their own hands.
Paradise brings together everything they love — tiki and vintage design, travel, great food, tropical cocktails, coffee, and creating things a little outside the ordinary.
Their hope is that Paradise becomes the kind of place they always wished existed here in Northwest Indiana — somewhere to gather, escape for a while, and have a little adventure without going very far.
